3_ How to treat a child's toothache

The child should be given cool foods that help soothe gingivitis, such as mashed apples, milk or yogurt.
Massage the baby's gums with a special teething gel, which is a sugar-free gel available in pharmacies. After cleaning the finger well, put a small amount on it and gently rub the baby's gums so that he does not get hurt.
Minimize the child's discomfort by administering paracetamol appropriate for his age, as prescribed by the pediatrician.
It is recommended to contact a specialist if the baby’s temperature remains high during the teething stage and the crying continues to be intense, he may be suffering from ear infections or another illness such as strep throat.
Training the child from the beginning to clean his teeth by washing his mouth well, and it is recommended to acquire a special toothbrush for the child with toothpaste to adapt to it, in addition to taking the child to the dentist periodically until he gets used to it.
